ABOUT CARRENDO
Carrendo Studios was born from David's vision of an accessible music education program focused on more than just excellent technical instruction, where students have the opportunity to learn life through music. Here at Carrendo, we design content and teach lessons with the goal of helping others to reach their creative potential by educating them through "hows," not "whats."
Tools, not Rules
At Carrendo, we use a phrase called "tools, not rules." In arts education, students can often become anxious about being "right." Instead, we teach tools that a student can use if they chose. We make sure to explain when a technique is a safety or health issue (for example, breath support in vocal training) to clarify the difference.

This business plan follows the standard structure for entrepreneurs. The semester for Spring 2022 was spent researching in-depth information on the company and presented to the class in a mock investors meeting.

(Concert Production & Promotion)
This document explains and examines the work done in Spring 2022 by Swanson and his colleagues to create a concert production company and produce real events in the Virginia area. It includes a list of 100 venues in Virginia and constructively criticizes his own work.
